VINNIE (MICHAEL) MAIORINO
Physical Therapist
Vinnie (Michael) Maiorino has been a physical therapist since 2005. He received his Bachelors of Science in Clinical Science 2004, Masters of Science in Physical Therapy and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005 all from Ithaca College. Vinnie received his certification of Selective Functional Movement Analysis (SFMA) in 2015. He is also an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Credentialed Clinical Instructor since 2009. Vinnie has been at Durant Physical Therapy since October of 2015. Prior to that, he worked in the subacute rehabilitation setting for 10 years as a staff physical therapist and rehabilitation director. He specializes in manual therapy of all types with special training in kinesiology taping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and integrated dry needling. Vinnie employs a wide range of manual techniques based on client needs including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, Maitland and Mulligan techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and corrective exercise techniques. He lives in East Hampton, CT with his wife and son.
